Selcuk Kaya has been an active operator and entrepreneur in the automotive industry since 1992. He launched his career in Istanbul, participating in Turkey's first organized used-car expos, before expanding operations into European supply networks, a Hertz dealership in Iraq, and ultimately Houston, Texas.
Today, as President of Kayalar Motors, Selcuk leads one of Houston's top independent dealerships. Kayalar Motors is consistently ranked among the Top 20 in the region and was recognized by CarGurus in 2025 with three simultaneous awards: Top Rated Dealer, Top Digital Dealer, and Top Value Dealer.
Alongside his automotive operations, Selcuk is the founder of Nemroot Technologies, an AI-driven customer engagement platform; co-founder of Tapy Car, the developer of the world's first NFC-embedded Smart Car Sale Tags; and founder of Texas Business People, a platform connecting entrepreneurs and business leaders across Texas.
In industry leadership, he serves as a TIADA Board Alternate and Legislative Committee Member, is a former NIADA Awards Committee Member, and former President of MÜSİAD Texas. He is a regular speaker at TIADA and NIADA conferences and actively advocates for independent dealers with members of Congress in Washington, D.C. and state legislators in Austin.
With over three decades of experience as the founder of Kayalar Motors, Selcuk's work is built on execution discipline, customer trust, and long-term value creation. He shares this experience in his 2026 book, "The Dealer Operating System."
